Rejuvenate and enhance your face with injectables in New York City. Are you interested in enhancing your face but don’t want to undergo surgical procedures to do it? Many women and men want to address parts of their appearance but do not necessarily want to undergo cosmetic surgery. If you are too scared for more complex procedures but want a more youthful appearance, injectables could be the answer!

Many adults become concerned about the appearance of wrinkles and lines on their skin. These lines make them look older and more tired. This is precisely why so many women and men are turning to injectables to improve their appearance and get a youthful look that turns back the clock.

The injectables that we offer include Botox, soft-tissue dermal fillers, and QWO. Each has its own applications.

What Are Injectables?

Injectables are copyrighted and trademarked types of prescription medicine that can be used for cosmetic enhancement. They are incredibly popular cosmetic tools that have become a household name!

Injectables are injected into key areas of the face to temporarily remove the appearance of lines and wrinkles, resulting in smoother skin that appears younger. Injectables are well known as an alternative to surgery for individuals who still want to be proactive about aging and looking youthful.

Millions of people have used injectables as an option for treating their wrinkles and lines without having to undergo a face lift or other procedures that require an increased recovery time, often multiple days or weeks.

Botox, the brand name for onabotulinumtoxinA, is injected into contracted muscles to ease the look of fine lines and facial wrinkles. Fillers, on the other hand, are injected into the skin tissues to fill moderate and deep lines and wrinkles in the face.

Belotero Balance is a filler that is approved by the FDA for treating facial wrinkles and volume loss. It is able to restore volume to the skin due to its hyaluronic acid composition. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance that binds to water molecules, creating a smoother appearance for the skin.

Radiesse is another filler used to fill in moderate and deep lines and hollow depressions. It is composed of calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres in an aqueous gel. Along with adding structure, it stimulates collagen production in your skin. These changes add plumpness and decrease the appearance of wrinkles.

QWO, or collagenase clostridium histolyticum-aaes, is an FDA-approved injectable treatment for cellulite, or dimpling of the skin. It releases strained collagen bands around fat deposits to eliminate the dimpled appearance of cellulite in the buttocks of adult women.

Am I a Good Candidate for Injectables?

You are an ideal candidate for injectables if you are uncomfortable with undergoing invasive surgical procedures for treatment of lines and wrinkles.

You need to be in good overall health without known allergies to the ingredients of the injectables. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you may not be recommended to undergo this treatment.

Consultation for Injectables

Before receiving the injectable, an initial consultation will take place to ensure the compatibility of the patient with Botox, fillers, or QWO.

The patient’s target areas will be examined, and we will recommend the injectable type and treatment plan to achieve the best results. The patients’ medical history and expectations/goals for the procedure will be discussed.

How Do Injectables Work?

Botox is primarily utilized as a cosmetic procedure, but it is also used in the medical domain for migraines and overactive bladder. Getting Botox will reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles such as crow’s feet and frown lines.

Botox works by reducing the natural contractions in the muscles that occur normally when your face moves to laugh or to frown. Botox will temporarily reduce the muscle activity and not only reduce lines from the past but prevent the lines from getting deeper in the future.

You should begin to notice the effects within 24 to 48 hours of getting the treatment. Botox works to temporarily improve the appearance of these lines and will be effective for roughly four months, during which time you will experience a marked improvement in the appearance of lines on your face.

Fillers reduce the look of deeper wrinkles like the nasolabial folds, marionette lines, parentheses lines, smoker’s lines, and chin wrinkles. Fillers work through the addition of volume to key regions of the skin that have lost volume over time. As these regions regain their volume, the wrinkles ease away. Results are typically immediate depending on the type of product. Fillers last longer in the skin than Botox does, so their results will be visible for several more months than Botox.

I loved everything about my experience. Offices are stunning. There was no wait. The whole team is very sweet and accommodating. And the service I had done is still healing but, I’m already beginning to see results that I’m extremely happy with. I highly recommend. – Anonymous

Aftercare

There is no recovery time needed after an injectable procedure. Aftercare will vary based on the type of injectable used, the areas injected, and the patient’s natural healing process. Intense workouts and strenuous activities should be avoided for at least 24 hours to 2 days.

Injected areas must be protected from extreme heat and direct exposure to the sun to avoid swelling. Patients with sensitive skin are discouraged from applying makeup and other products to avoid irritation right after the procedure.

Which Areas Can Be Treated with Injectables?

Botox can be injected in a number of locations on the face to directly target those fine lines. Botox is commonly injected on the forehead to take care of those fine lines that form from raising eyebrows and other facial expressions. Or Botox may be injected by the brows to address deep furrow lines from furrowing the brow.

Botox is injected near the eyes to resolve crow’s feet and may also be injected on the neck at the platysmal bands, on the chin, on the nose (bunny lines), by the brows, and in other areas of the face to fix problem areas and create a smoother appearance.

Fillers are used to target harsh lines like the nasolabial folds, those deep wrinkles that stretch from the sides of the nose to the sides of the mouth. The marionette lines, which stretch down from the corners of the mouth, can also be treated in this way, as can parentheses lines, which appear at the sides of the mouth. Smoker’s lines, which appear as lines around the lips, can be resolved with fillers, as can chin wrinkles.

Where Can I Get Botox and Fillers?

Getting injectables is very easy! You can call your doctor and do it at the office, or you can even make an appointment to have certified specialists administer the product at an outside location such as your home or a hotel room. It’s common for women to even throw injectable parties where they have.

Injectables Cost

The price of injectables will vary based on the type of product used and number of syringes needed to achieve the best results. The overall cost of the procedure will also depend on the number of areas treated.
