Laser Tattoo removal works by producing short pulses of intense light that pass harmlessly through the top layers of the skin to be selectively absorbed by the tattoo pigment. This laser energy causes the tattoo pigment to fragment into smaller particles that are then removed by the body’s immune system.

The size and color of the tattoo determines how many sessions you would need to remove the tattoo. Tattoo removal can also be used to lighten the tattoo before getting a cover up. Avoid any sun exposure or tanning bed for 2 weeks prior and 2 weeks after the appointment.
