What Is QWO?
QWO is a non-surgical injectable prescription medication for reducing the occurrence of cellulite. Cellulite is the dimpling of the skin that occurs when fat gets pushed against the fibrous connective tissue (called septa). The fibrous septa are bands of connective tissue that cause tension as the fat tissue enlarges, leading to the textured appearance of the skin.
QWO is composed of collagenases, which are enzymes that work against the septa, releasing the bands and smoothing away the dimples. QWO also stimulates the production of new collagen. It may take 3 to 4 sessions before the desired results can be achieved.
Good Candidates for QWO

The QWO Injection Procedure
The initial step in a QWO treatment session is the identification of the injection sites. Each cellulite dimple will be encircled, and a dot will be marked in the center of each circle. You will be asked to lie face down on a table. The injections will be administered, and the whole procedure may only take 10 to 15 minutes. You will be asked to stay prone for 5 minutes after the injections are done. Only 6 to 12 dimples can be treated for each buttock for every patient visit.
Recovery
Following your QWO treatment, minimal pain at the injection sites may be expected but should resolve quickly. You may require a minimal amount of downtime to recover from soreness and bruising. Bruising will decrease in severity with each session. You may also feel some nodes (hardened areas), which should disappear after a few days.
